Bridging the Gap

The Pennybacker Bridge is a bridge I drive across twice every day, five days a week. If I do the math that’s ten times every week. That totals 490 times every year. This Sunday we celebrated Holy Communion as part of World Communion Sunday. In my new church role, I am expected to assist in serving Communion. This Sunday was particularly special, because I was asked to arrive at church early and help prepare this meal so that everything would be ready and in place by the time people arrived for church.
